As Moses stood on the top of Mt Nebo, he shared with the people of Israel and Deuteronomy is the account of what he said. In chapt. 1-2, he recounts the peoples history: In chapt. 3-10 he restates for all of the present generation the commands of God and then spends chapt 11-34 explaining how the people were to live their lives. Chapter 34 concludes with Moses dieing and God taking and burying him in the area, but no one knows where. |
